A place has to be genuinely exceptional at what it sets out to do, whether that is a tasting menu, a cocktail, a view, or a room that holds the energy of a night. Prestige alone is not enough, and neither is a famous name. The question is always the same, is this worth your time, and worth ours to vouch for. When somewhere is no longer worth it, it comes off the list.
How often is the guide updated?
Continuously. Bangkok moves quickly, places open, standards slip, and doors close, so the book moves with it. We keep our own record in step with the city, so that what you read reflects how things actually are rather than how they were a year ago.
Who writes Jetset Black Book?
The guide is written by people with more than twenty years in Bangkok, across entertainment, hospitality, and related worlds. It is drawn from firsthand experience and long-standing relationships in the city, not from search results or recycled listings.
